I am a die hard Michael Prescott fan & he didn't let me down!! I tend to be a slow reader... but I finished this book in two nights!! I just couldn't put it down!! I literally gasped more than once as this story played out. Trish was a very likable (and MacGyver-esque) heroine!! The story plays out in only a matter of hours with LOTS of twists & turns which gives it somewhat of a "24" feel!! You really start to wonder what else could possibly happen!! It could very easily be a one dimentional story of cat & mouse... but the characters are interesting, easy to love/hate, and the subtle back story develops slowly to a shocking revelation!!! You should be prepared for some strong language and graphic descriptions, but it's worth the read!!Mortal Pursuit Overview
