I love this series, the art is beautiful, straight out of Castle in the Sky or Howl's Moving Castle. The storyline is simple, nothing we haven't seen before, but told in a fun and interesting way. I enjoy the parallel world idea, and I appreciate the concept of the children being heroes. I really can't say enough about this book, I would compare it to a Quentin Tarantino film, it borrows elements of different stories and incorporates them into one single world in a way that presents it as entirely new and exciting yet old and warmly familiar.Amulet #4: The Last Council Overview
