We Catholics have a distinct and historical perspective of studying and interpreting Scripture based on the history and tradition of 2,000 years, initially established and practiced by the very first Christians.We are grateful to Gail Buckley of Catholic Scripture Study International for providing yet another excellent Catholic Study Bible. It has helpful charts, indexes, maps, quotes and notes. You may notice it is not the cheapest Study Bible on the market but that is due in part to the luxurious and beautiful leather cover. It reminds me of being a boy and proudly holding my father's elegant and supple leather-covered Bible.
