Cherry Pie Review

This is a beautiful story on second chance. Love these two guys, one an ex-convict and the other a rich guy struggling with the betrayal of his dead lover. Love the almost quiet setting in this rundown small town. Love the secondary characters who support these two guys. So much to love about this story, which has my complete attention until the very end. These guys never say the 3 words but there is no need as action speaks louder. John is the much older rich guy from the city who decides to hide in this dead town after his lover's death. A sad man, John struggles to find himself. Conn was the golden boy from this town who seems to have made it but life dealt a cruel blow. Now an ex-convict Conn is a lost soul and needs his town, which he loves, to help him heal. I love how these two guys met. Two men who could not be more different but their developing love is quietly convincing and you know they will make it.
